PEC Energia is an Engeform Energia Renovavel Company. It has entered into an agreement to power the Serra das Vacas windpark in the state Pernambuco.
Vestas will supply the 19 V150-4.5 MW turbines and then install them. Vestas will provide a 25-year Active Output Management 5000 service agreement. This agreement will maximize energy production and provide long-term certainty for business cases.
Vestas has reached 7 GW in order intakes in Brazil for 4MW platform wind turbines. This project consolidates it as the most-sold wind turbine platform in Brazil. Vestas has already installed more than 57 Gw of 4 MW platform turbines around the globe since the platform was launched in 2010.

The local production of the wind turbines under the Brazilian Development Bank’s FINAME rules will create jobs, expand Brazil’s wind industry, and support the government’s efforts to promote renewables and a more sustainable energy mix.
Delivery and commissioning of turbines are scheduled for 2024.
