Suzlon Group announced Tuesday that it had won an order to develop 144.9 MW wind power projects for Aditya Birla Group.
“Suzlon Group has India’s largest installed wind energy base,” said a statement.
Suzlon will install 69 wind turbine generators (wind turbines) with a Hybrid Lattice Tubular tower (HLT tower) and a rated power of 2.1 MW each.
It is located in Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, and is expected that it will be completed in 2023.
Vinod R Tanti (Chairman and Managing Director of Suzlon Group) said that it is a matter of pride to announce the order with Aditya Birla Group. We are very grateful for the trust of our customers in our abilities as wind energy experts.
It claimed that Suzlon turbines are typically manufactured in the country using a strong domestic value chain and range from 70 to 80 percent domestic content.
The project will generate green power that they can use to produce their manufacturing facilities, and help create an Aatmanirbhar Bharata.
This project can supply electricity to 0.94 lakh households and reduce 3.72 lakh tonnes of CO2 emissions annually.
