KP Energy Commissions A Further 29.4 MW Of 250 MW Wind Project In Gujarat

KP Energy Ltd announced the completion of a 29.4 megawatt (MW) wind energy project in Gujarat on Monday.

According to a regulatory filing, the capacity is part of the 250.8 MW ISTS linked wind power project capacity given by Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited (SECI) under Tranche-VIII bidding.

“In furtherance of phase-I at Sidhpur, KP Energy has successfully commissioned 29.4 MW (phase-II) ISTS (inter state transmission system) connected wind power project comprising 14 numbers of WTGs (wind turbine generators) of 2.1 MW each at Sidhpur site in Devbhoomi Dwarka,” the company stated.

The net cumulative capacity commissioned with the current phase-II commissioning is 81.9 MW.
