PNE Group completes the commissioning of two wind farms in Schleswig-Holstein, situated in Hamwarde and Stuvenborn, enhancing its portfolio and raising the total nominal output of PNE Group’s wind farms to 370 MW.

In Hamwarde, two Nordex N149 turbines with 5.70 MW each were grid-connected. In Stuvenborn, the wind farm features a Vestas V150 (6 MW) and a Vestas V136 (4.2 MW). With a combined nominal output of 21.6 MW, the wind farms generate enough electricity annually to meet the needs of 15,000 three-person households.

PNE Group is actively constructing eleven wind farms with an approximate output of 281 MW, which will join its generation portfolio post-commissioning. Combined with the existing 370 MW, the total operational or under-construction capacity reaches around 651 MW. This surpasses PNE Group’s strategic interim target of having wind farms totaling 500 MW in operation or under construction by the end of 2023.

“As a provider of clean energy solutions, we aim to have wind energy and photovoltaic systems with an output of 1,500 MW/MWp in operation or under construction by the end of 2027. With the commissioning of the two wind farms,
we are well on our way to achieving this goal”, said Markus Lesser, CEO of PNE AG.
