Suzlon Group bagged a significant new order today to develop a 551.25 MW wind power project for the Aditya Birla Group, a global Indian conglomerate. The project will involve the installation of 175 wind turbine generators (WTGs), each with a rated capacity of 3.15 MW, featuring Hybrid Lattice Tubular (HLT) towers. These installations will be located in the Barmer district of Rajasthan and the Bhuj district of Gujarat.

This order features Suzlon’s larger-rated 3.15 MW S144-140m turbines from their 3 MW product series. Under the agreement, Suzlon will supply the wind turbines and manage the entire project execution, including erection and commissioning, in Rajasthan. In Gujarat, Suzlon will supply the turbines and oversee their supervision and commissioning. Additionally, Suzlon will provide comprehensive operations and maintenance services at both sites post-commissioning.
