Vestas is pleased to announce a new 137 MW order for two repowering projects in the U.S. from Exus Renewables North America, as part of its Q4 2024 order intake. The projects, Highland North Repower and Highland Cambria Repower, will utilize Vestas’ V120-2.2 MW turbines, which are designed to maximize energy production and enhance operational efficiency at existing wind farms.
Vestas will provide a 20-year AOM 5000 service agreement for long-term maintenance, ensuring optimal performance and reliability throughout the life of the projects. Turbine delivery is scheduled for Q1 and Q2 of 2026, respectively, with commissioning expected in Q3 of 2026.
The order highlights Vestas’ ongoing commitment to repowering and upgrading older wind assets, extending their life cycles and contributing to the U.S. renewable energy market.
