SJVN Green Energy Limited (SGEL), a subsidiary of SJVN Limited, has invited bids for the development of a GETCO-connected wind power project of up to 100 MW in Gujarat. The project includes a comprehensive 10-year operation and maintenance plan. This tender follows a competitive bidding process and is intended for bidders interested in proposing wind power projects with a minimum capacity of 50 MW and a maximum of 100 MW. Bidders may submit proposals for either a 50 MW or 100 MW project or two separate 50 MW projects.
The selected wind turbines must adhere to the ‘Revised List of Models & Manufacturers’ as specified by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE). Bidders are responsible for choosing project locations in Gujarat, ensuring compliance with connectivity provisions and regulations set by CERC/GERC. Additionally, all projects must be designed for interconnection with the GETCO substation.
Important dates for this tender are as follows:
- Bid Document Available: From October 16, 2024, to November 13, 2024 (by 12:00 PM).
- Pre-Bid Meeting: October 29, 2024, at 11:00 AM.
- Last Date for Bid Submission: November 14, 2024, by 2:00 PM.
- Techno-Commercial Bid Opening: November 14, 2024, at 3:00 PM.
- Hard Copy Submission Deadline: November 22, 2024, by 6:00 PM.
The cost of the bid document is ₹5,900, which includes 18% GST. The bid security (EMD) required is ₹2.7 crore for a 50 MW project and ₹5.4 crore for a 100 MW project, which can be submitted through bank guarantee or other approved forms. The performance bank guarantee (PBG) details will be provided in the contract terms.
SGEL also invites bidders to participate in an e-Reverse Auction after the opening of price bids. Details for the auction will be shared with qualified bidders. All bids must comply with the criteria set out in the bid documents, including both technical and financial qualifications.
To participate in the bidding process, interested bidders must register on the ISN-ETS portal and submit the necessary documents, including proof of payment for the bid document and EMD. Any bid not accompanied by the required EMD will be rejected.
SGEL reserves the right to cancel or modify the tender process at any stage. Bidders must ensure they meet the eligibility criteria, including experience with grid-connected wind power projects, and financial stability.
