Vestas Secures Three New Orders for a Total of 198 MW in EMEA Region

Vestas has announced significant new orders in the EMEA region, reflecting its continued leadership in renewable energy solutions.

In Germany, Vestas will supply 86 MW of capacity for the Fischborn Wind Project, collaborating with Oberhessische Versorgungsbetriebe AG, Mainova AG, ImWind Deutschland GmbH, and Renertec GmbH. The project will feature 12 V172-7.2 MW turbines and a 25-year AOM 5000 Service Agreement. Delivery is planned for Q2 2026, with commissioning expected in Q4 2026.

Another German project, WP Ohrenbach, will see Vestas providing 48 MW of capacity using 8 V162-6.0 MW turbines. The project, developed by Windpark Ohrenbach GmbH & Co. KG, includes a 20-year AOM 5000 Service Agreement. Delivery is scheduled for Q2 2026, with commissioning anticipated in Q4 2026.

In Latvia, Ventspils Wind SIA has placed an order for a 64 MW project featuring 10 V162-6.4 MW turbines. This project will include a 35-year AOM 5000 Service Agreement, with delivery set for Q1 2026 and commissioning in Q3 2026.

These orders emphasize Vestas’ commitment to advancing wind energy through innovative turbine technology and comprehensive service solutions tailored to meet the evolving needs of the EMEA market.
