The Serra das Almas Wind Farm, located in Urandi, Licínio de Almeida, and Jacaraci in southwest Bahia, hosted a special Christmas program for neighboring communities in late December. Over two days, the event brought together approximately 400 children from 15 communities, fostering celebration, connection, and a strong bond with the local population.

The festivities featured cultural performances by Cantaqui Contaculá and Grupo Tuia, who delighted families with traditional Christmas songs and Brazilian cultural expressions. The program also included painting workshops, snack distribution, and a visit from Santa Claus, who gifted educational toys, creating joyful and unforgettable moments for the children. “We were very happy to have shared the Christmas spirit with the families neighboring the Serra das Almas Wind Farm. These actions were more than a celebration, they reinforce our commitment to the population of the region, based on actions that seek to bring a positive impact on different fronts to residents. “, said Alexandre Azevedo, director of New Business at EDF Renewables.
