JSW Energy has added 159 MW of greenfield wind power capacity this quarter, bringing its total operational capacity to 8,400 MW. This new capacity has been made available ahead of the wind season, ensuring readiness to meet the rising energy demand during the upcoming peak period. The addition strengthens the company’s efforts in providing a stable and sustainable power supply.
With this latest expansion, JSW Energy’s total operational wind capacity now stands at 2,826 MW. The company continues to grow its renewable energy portfolio, with approximately 8.0 GW of capacity currently under construction. As part of its long-term vision, JSW Energy aims to reach a total installed generation capacity of 20 GW well before the financial year 2030.
The company remains focused on expanding its clean energy footprint, aligning with India’s renewable energy goals. By increasing its wind power capacity, JSW Energy is contributing to a greener and more sustainable power sector while ensuring energy security for the future.
