Vestas has announced a new order as part of its Q1 order intake, placed by Ørsted Wind Power A/S for the Bahren West II wind project in Brandenburg, Germany.
The project will have a total capacity of 62 MW and will feature 11 V150-6.0 MW turbines, each operating in a 5.6 MW mode. This project will further strengthen Vestas’ presence in the European renewable energy market.
As part of the agreement, Vestas will provide a 20-year AOM 4000 Service Agreement, ensuring optimal performance and long-term reliability for the wind farm. This service contract reflects Vestas’ commitment to delivering efficient and sustainable wind energy solutions.
Turbine deliveries for the project are planned to begin in Q4 2026, with commissioning expected to be completed by Q2 2027. The project will contribute significantly to Germany’s clean energy transition.
