BayWa r.e. has entered into a long-term framework agreement with Greencoat UK Wind, a leading renewable infrastructure fund managed by Schroders Greencoat, to provide technical asset management services for its 14 wind farms across England and Scotland, 9 of which have been retained and extended.
The 10-year agreement will see BayWa r.e. managing a total of 406 MW of power across the 14 sites, which include 8 in Scotland and 6 in England. Together, these wind farms will generate enough power to supply approximately 143,700 homes.
BayWa r.e. offers comprehensive technical management services to a wide range of wind energy partners, handling tasks such as monitoring operations at its 24/7 control center, scheduling onsite services, and preparing detailed company reports.“We are delighted to sign this long-term framework agreement.
