Vestas Secures 50 MW Wind Turbine Order from Edison Spa in Italy

Vestas has secured a new order as part of its Q1 intake, marking a significant step in its ongoing commitment to sustainable energy solutions. The company will supply 50 MW of wind power capacity for the Ascoli Satriano and Sant’Agata projects in Italy, in collaboration with Edison Spa.

The project will feature Vestas’ V136-4.5 MW wind turbines, known for their high performance and efficiency. To ensure the long-term success of the project, Vestas will provide a 10-year operation and maintenance service agreement.

Turbine delivery and commissioning are scheduled for the first half of 2026. This order further strengthens Vestas’ presence in the European renewable energy market and reinforces its commitment to supporting Italy’s clean energy transition.
