The French Energy Regulatory Commission (CRE) has announced the results of its latest onshore wind tender, awarding a total capacity of 930 megawatts (MW) at an average price of €87.61 per megawatt-hour. RWE secured seven projects, representing a prorated capacity of 151 MW and a total capacity of 183 MW. Of these, five projects are fully owned by RWE, while the remaining two are being co-developed—one in partnership with Vent du Nord and the other with Escofi.

Katja Wünschel, CEO RWE Renewables Europe & Australia said, “I would like to extend my congratulations to all the teams who contributed to RWE’s success in the latest French tender. This great result once again reflects the strength of our strategy, made possible by our experienced team and the quality of our project pipeline.”
