Recent reports from Vietnam News Agency and Saigon Times have spotlighted POWERCHINA’s vital role in advancing Vietnam’s sustainable development through a range of green energy initiatives. These accomplishments reflect the strong collaboration between China and Vietnam, showcasing their deepening partnership in energy transition efforts and ecological conservation.

As the 2025 China-Vietnam Year of Cultural Exchange progresses, the green alliance between the two nations continues to grow. Vietnamese media have even cited the lyrics of “Vietnam-China” to celebrate their close cooperation in the new energy sector.

Through projects ranging from wind farms to waste-to-energy facilities, POWERCHINA, leveraging its advanced technology and engineering capabilities, has helped Vietnam upgrade its energy infrastructure and stimulate industrial growth. These projects bring clean energy to local communities, create a wealth of job opportunities, and promote the upgrading of the industrial value chain.

The full grid connection of the Huong Linh 4 Wind Power Plant, constructed by POWERCHINA, stands as a major achievement. Boasting an installed capacity of 30 MW, the plant will supply Electricity of Vietnam with 90,000 MWh of green electricity annually. This output is enough to power approximately 48,000 households each year, while cutting carbon dioxide emissions by about 72,000 metric tons, along with other harmful pollutants. Turning local wind resources into tangible economic gains marks a notable success.

Given Vietnam’s exposure to typhoons, the project includes turbine blades and tower designs enhanced to withstand extreme weather, ensuring long-term operational reliability. An intelligent hoisting control system, equipped with high-precision sensors and real-time monitoring, facilitates the safe and efficient installation of blades even in strong winds.

Additionally, a cutting-edge intelligent monitoring and maintenance platform enables 24/7 remote operation, fault prediction, and maintenance scheduling, significantly lowering operational and maintenance costs.

From advancing border trade and infrastructure development to strengthening industrial and supply chain links and promoting sustainable growth, China and Vietnam’s practical cooperation continues to deepen, with POWERCHINA playing a key leadership role.
