B.Grimm Power Public Company Limited has announced the successful start of full commercial operations for the 19.2 megawatt Gasan 1 Onshore Wind Power Project, located in Jeongseon, Gangwon-do, South Korea, effective June 20, 2025.

Developed through its associate, KOPOS Co., Ltd., the project comprises four 4.8 MW wind turbines and marks B.Grimm Power’s first onshore wind initiative in the country. Gasan 1 is part of a broader renewable energy development plan under a grid connection agreement with Korea Electric Power Corporation (KEPCO).

The project is backed by a 20-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with SK Innovation Co., Ltd., a key subsidiary of the SK Group—South Korea’s second-largest conglomerate by assets. Under the RE100 framework, all electricity generated by Gasan 1 will be sold at a fixed tariff of KRW 181 (approximately THB 4.3) per kWh, ensuring stable long-term revenue.

In parallel, KOPOS operates 23.5 MWp of solar PV projects in the same region, while B.Grimm Power has also invested in the 99 MW Saemangeum Sebit Power Solar Project, which benefits from a 20-year Renewable Energy Certificate (REC) sale and purchase agreement with Korea Midland Power Co., Ltd.

These projects further diversify B.Grimm Power’s renewable energy portfolio and reinforce its commitment to supporting South Korea’s clean energy transition. The successful launch of the Gasan 1 Project lays the foundation for a growing pipeline of wind energy developments across the region.
