Qualitas Energy, a global investment and management platform focused on renewable energy and sustainable infrastructure, has acquired a greenfield wind energy portfolio in Lower Saxony, north-western Germany. The portfolio includes three mid-stage wind projects with a combined planned capacity of up to 100 megawatts (MW). This acquisition aligns with Qualitas Energy’s strategy to identify and develop high-potential renewable assets across Germany, supported by its strong local presence and expert development team.

The newly acquired projects are currently in the planning phase and will involve the construction of 14 state-of-the-art wind turbines. These assets form part of a larger development pipeline in Germany, where Qualitas Energy now holds more than 3 gigawatts (GW) of late-stage projects across over 100 sites, including both greenfield developments and repowering initiatives.

Once operational, the wind farms are expected to produce enough clean energy to power over 66,000 households, supporting Germany’s climate targets and energy transition goals.
