Juniper Green Energy has successfully commissioned approximately 25 MW of its 50 MW wind power project in Dev Bhumi Dwarka district, Gujarat—nearly three months ahead of its Scheduled Commercial Operation Date (SCOD) of October 17, 2025.

The project has been developed through its subsidiary, Juniper Green Beam Private Limited, which holds a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (GUVNL) for the full 50 MW capacity. The PPA was signed in 2023.

“This early commissioning of the Dev Bhumi Dwarka wind project reflects our strong project execution capabilities and adherence to timelines. We remain committed to accelerating India’s clean energy transition through reliable and sustainable power delivery,” said Ankush Malik, CEO of Juniper Green Energy.

The commissioning is a part of the company’s growing renewable energy portfolio in Gujarat and aligns with its long-term strategy to support India’s decarbonization goals.

In a separate development earlier in July 2025, Juniper Green Energy—via its subsidiary Juniper Green Bess Two Private Limited—signed another PPA with GUVNL for a 100 MW wind power project. The company also secured a Letter of Intent (LoI) from GUVNL for an additional 50 MW wind project, further strengthening its position in the state’s renewable energy sector.
