Enel announced that its subsidiary Enel Green Power España (EGPE), controlled through Endesa, has completed the acquisition of 37.5% of Cetasa from Caja Rural de Soria and 25% from Caja Rural de Navarra. Cetasa owns 99 MW of operational wind farms in Spain’s Soria province, producing about 240 GWh annually, along with 30 MW of wind projects under development. With this transaction, EGPE now holds 100% of Cetasa.
The deal values Cetasa at an enterprise value of around 60 million euros on a 100% basis, subject to standard transaction adjustments. EGPE expects the acquisition to contribute approximately 10 million euros in additional annual EBITDA once fully operational.
This acquisition supports the Enel Group’s strategy to expand renewable generation capacity, including through the purchase of operating assets. As of the first half of 2025, Endesa’s total consolidated net installed renewable capacity stood at approximately 10.8 GW.
