Envision Energy India has announced the signing of an agreement with Evren for the supply of approximately 152 Wind Turbine Generators (WTGs) from its EN 156/3.3 MW Turbine Platform. The turbines will be deployed at Evren’s upcoming wind energy project in Andhra Pradesh.

Evren, backed by the Brookfield Global Transition Fund (BGTF), is rapidly scaling up its renewable energy footprint across India, targeting the development of over 10 GW of clean energy assets encompassing solar, wind, and battery storage in key states such as Rajasthan and Andhra Pradesh.

Envision’s Smart Wind Turbines—featuring a 156-metre rotor diameter and a 140-metre hub height—are optimized for India’s diverse wind conditions. The 3.3 MW turbine platform, already operating with over 2.5 GW of capacity in India and widely adopted in the MENA region, Southeast Asia, and China, delivers enhanced Annual Energy Output (AEP) while maintaining the lowest Levelized Cost of Energy (LCoE).

Commenting on the agreement, RPV Prasad, Managing Director of Envision Energy India, said,
