The PNE Group continues to expand in the French market, successfully completing the sale of two high-profile wind farm projects.
The Clermont-en-Argonne wind farm in the Grand Est region has an installed capacity of 14.4 MW. Developed by PNE France and brought to construction readiness, the project was sold in July 2025 to French IPP JP Energie Environnement. Construction began in September 2025, with commissioning expected by the end of 2026. JP Energie Environnement will build and operate the wind farm.
The Genouillé wind farm, located in Nouvelle-Aquitaine, has an installed capacity of 11.3 MW and has been operational since July 2025. Developed and built by PNE France, the project was sold to French energy company Sorégies. PNE Group will continue to operate the project through its subsidiary Energy Consult France, further strengthening its presence in the French market.
“We are delighted to have found two buyers who are as committed to the expansion of renewable energies as we are,’ says Heiko Wuttke, CEO of PNE. ‘Together, we are making another important contribution to the energy transition. At the same time, the sale underlines the importance of the French market for the PNE Group. The sale of both projects once again demonstrates the high quality of PNE France’s work.”
