Inox Wind Limited (IWL), one of India’s leading wind energy solutions providers, has announced the acquisition of new wind power orders totaling 229 MW, bolstering its project pipeline and solidifying its position as a preferred partner for renewable energy developers.
The company has received a 160 MW order—from which 112 MW is firm, with an option to extend by an additional 48 MW—from a prominent Indian independent power producer (IPP). The order includes the supply of Inox Wind’s 3.3 MW wind turbine generators across multiple project sites, limited-scope engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) services, along with multi-year operations and maintenance (O&M) support post commissioning.
Additionally, the company has secured a repeat order of 69 MW from another leading renewable energy developer, part of a major global clean energy group, for a project in Maharashtra. This follows a 153 MW order placed by the same customer in March 2025, highlighting growing confidence and a strengthening partnership.
Commenting on the order wins, Kailash Tarachandani, Group CEO – Renewables at INOXGFL Group, said, “We are delighted to have received these significant orders totaling 229 MW from our valued partners. Both new and repeat orders reflect the trust our clients place in our technology, execution capabilities, and long-term service excellence.”
Inox Wind CEO Sanjeev Agarwal added, “These strong order inflows are endorsements of our 3 MW class turbine technology and expanding footprint in India’s renewable energy sector. We are in advanced talks with several other customers and expect to secure additional projects soon. Our goal is to close FY26 with an order book that aligns with our execution plans for the next 18–24 months.”
Inox Wind continues to operate as a key contributor to India’s wind energy expansion, offering end-to-end solutions including turbine manufacturing, project development, and lifecycle maintenance.
