Senvion India and KP Group have signed a framework agreement to jointly develop up to 2,000 MW of wind and wind–solar hybrid projects across India over the next three years. Senvion India operates under the ownership of Global Renewable Energy Development Holding Company Limited, an investment arm of the Alfanar Group based in Dubai. KP Group is represented by KPI Green Energy Limited, KP Energy Limited, and KP Green Engineering Limited.

The partnership aims to offer a customer-first and turnkey-like experience in which development, wind turbine supply, erection, and commissioning are integrated into a smooth and coordinated process. This approach is expected to speed up project execution, reduce hand-offs between different providers, and ensure clear accountability throughout the project cycle.

Under the agreement, KP Group will take responsibility for identifying and developing project sites, including land acquisition, permits, and approvals. It will also manage the Balance of Plant scope, covering civil works, internal roads, foundations, electrical systems up to the interconnection point, and grid evacuation approvals. Senvion India will supply wind turbine generators under project-specific agreements. Both companies will continue to operate independently within their defined roles while working together to support India’s renewable energy growth.
