TEPCO Renewable Power and Shoreline Wind are partnering to improve offshore wind power operations and maintenance (O&M). The collaboration aims to optimize design and management using intelligent simulation software.
TEPCO Renewable Power is expanding its offshore wind portfolio and needed a solution for evaluating costs, predicting cash flows, and streamlining logistics. TEPCO selected Shoreline Wind’s O&M simulation software as the best tool for their needs.
TEPCO Renewable Power integrates Shoreline Wind’s O&M simulation software into the design phase of its offshore wind projects. The software provides insights into costs, availability, and resource utilization for O&M campaigns.
TEPCO estimates maintenance costs and vessel specifications, including Crew Transfer Vessels (CTVs), during operations. The collaboration with Shoreline Wind enhances TEPCO’s offshore wind operations with innovative and digitalized solutions.
TEPCO uses data-driven outputs for strategic O&M planning, reducing uncertainties and improving reliability. In relation to this development, TEPCO issued the following statement:“We aim to expand our offshore wind power business and believe that improving our ability to accurately assess the maintenance and management costs of offshore wind farms and forecast future cash flows will help us make ongoing development and investment decisions. Shoreline Wind’s industry-leading O&M simulation software is extremely effective in assessing operation costs of offshore wind farms, especially in securing resources such as personnel, vessels, and ports, and in building logistics systems. TEPCO Renewable Power will utilize Shoreline Wind’s software in the design of its offshore wind power projects.”
