Vestas Wins 77 MW Order in New Zealand

Vestas has secured a 77 MW order for the Kaiwaikawe wind project in New Zealand from Mercury Energy. This project will feature 12 V162-6.4 MW turbines, reflecting Vestas’ commitment to delivering high-performance solutions in the APAC region.

The order includes a 30-year AOM 5000 service agreement, ensuring long-term operational support and efficiency. The project is expected to be delivered and commissioned in 2026, contributing to New Zealand’s renewable energy goals.
