Vestas has announced a significant order secured as part of its Q4 order intake. The project, located in Günstedt, Germany, involves a partnership with Meridian Windpark Günstedt GmbH & Co. KG.
The order comprises 10 V162-6.2 MW turbines, totaling 62 MW of capacity. Vestas will provide a 20-year Active Output Management 5000 (AOM 5000) Service Agreement to ensure long-term performance and reliability. Delivery of the turbines is planned for Q3 2026, with commissioning scheduled for Q1 2027.
