Vestas has secured multiple wind turbine orders in Q4, highlighting its continued contribution to advancing renewable energy solutions.
The company announced a 95 MW project in South Africa, which will feature 21 V150-4.5 MW turbines. This project includes a 20-year AOM 5000 Service Agreement, ensuring long-term performance optimization. Delivery is expected in the first half of 2026, with commissioning planned for the second half of the same year.
In France, Vestas received two separate orders for undisclosed projects. The first order comprises a 55 MW capacity with 13 V136-4.2 MW turbines, supported by a multi-year full-scope service agreement. Delivery for this project is scheduled for Q2 2025, with commissioning set for Q4 2025.
The second French project involves 31 MW of capacity, utilizing a mix of turbine variants, including 5 V126-3.45 MW turbines operating in 3.6 MW power mode and 3 V150-4.2 MW turbines. This project also includes a 20-year AOM 5000 Service Agreement, with delivery expected in 2025 and commissioning planned for the first half of 2026.
These orders reaffirm Vestas’ position as a leader in wind energy, with a focus on delivering cutting-edge technology and long-term service partnerships in the global market.
