Inox Wind Limited, a leading wind energy solutions provider in India, has secured a 153 MW order from a major renewable energy developer. This marks the company’s first-ever order of this scale from a member of a large global clean energy company. The project will be developed in Tamil Nadu, where Inox Wind will supply its 3 MW class wind turbines. Additionally, the company will provide a limited scope of engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) services along with multi-year operations and maintenance (O&M) services after the commissioning of the turbines.

Kailash Tarachandani, Group CEO of Inox Wind, expressed his enthusiasm for the order, stating that this strengthens the company’s growing customer base. He highlighted India’s rapidly expanding commercial and industrial renewable energy market and reaffirmed Inox Wind’s commitment to delivering high-quality wind energy solutions.

Inox Wind is a part of the $12 billion INOXGFL Group and has been a key player in India’s wind energy sector. The company operates four advanced manufacturing plants in Gujarat, Himachal Pradesh, and Madhya Pradesh, producing essential wind turbine components such as blades, tubular towers, hubs, and nacelles. With its 3 MW wind turbine technology, the company has a production capacity of around 2.5 GW annually.
