Kshema Power Secures ₹108 Crore Contract to Build 400 kV Transmission Line for 1 GW Wind Farm in Andhra Pradesh

Kshema Power, a Chennai-based EPC firm specializing in renewable energy infrastructure, has won a ₹108 crore contract to construct a 400 kV transmission line in the Ananthapuram district of Andhra Pradesh.

The 42-kilometer line will transmit electricity from a 1 GW wind farm, using single-circuit lines installed on double-circuit towers to ensure efficient and reliable power transfer.

“This landmark project marks our re-entry into the high-voltage transmission segment and reinforces our commitment to advancing renewable energy infrastructure in India,” said Dr. Sateesh Basant, Managing Director of Kshema Power. “It paves the way for significant growth, creates employment opportunities, and contributes positively to both industry and society.”

Kshema Power’s scope covers the entire project lifecycle, including design approvals, material procurement, civil construction, tower erection, regulatory clearances, testing, and final commissioning. The company plans to deploy expert teams to maintain high standards of safety and quality throughout the project.

This development highlights continued investment in India’s renewable energy infrastructure and the growing role of private EPC firms in supporting the country’s transition to clean energy.
