The Surat Municipal Corporation has issued a tender for the supply, installation, and commissioning of a 6.3 MW (maximum capacity) Wind Power Plant, inclusive of all accessories and power evacuation facilities, as well as the Operation and Maintenance (O&M) services for the entire Wind Power Plant for up to 10 years.
The deadline for Price bid submission online is by 07/03/2024 18:00; Technical bid, fees, EMD & documents via R.P.A.D./Speed Post to Chief Accountant, SMC is by 14/03/2024 17:30, with the bid opening scheduled for the following day.
Bidders must submit a Document fee of ₹21,240 and an earnest money deposit of ₹ 68.83 lakh, 80% in the form of Bank Guarantee & balance 20% in form of Demand Draft.
The project must be completed and operational within 12 months from the date of contract award.
The tender will be valid for a period of 120 days from the final date of submission of the technical bid in hard copy.
The bidder who wins the contract must provide a Bank Guarantee amounting to 5% of the Contract Value within 15 days of being awarded the contract. This Bank Guarantee will remain valid for 15 months from the date of project commissioning.
The bidder is required to submit a bank guarantee at the onset of the Operations and Maintenance (O&M) period, prior to the conclusion of the 12-month performance guarantee period. This guarantee should amount to 20% of the total O&M charges for the second year.
Additionally, a new bank guarantee must be issued annually before the commencement of each subsequent O&M period, also equivalent to 20% of the total O&M charges for that specific year. Each bank guarantee remains valid for 12 months from the date of issuance and must be provided before the expiration of the corresponding O&M period.
