Vestas is pleased to announce a significant order as part of its Q3 intake. This order has been placed by Competitive Power Ventures for the for the highly anticipated Rogue’s Wind project, which is set to be located in the United States.
In this project, Vestas will be responsible for supplying 19 state-of-the-art V162-6.0 MW wind turbines, which collectively will contribute to a total capacity of 114 MW. This selection highlights the advanced capabilities of the these turbine, making it an ideal choice for large-scale wind energy projects.
This order includes a multi-year Active Output Management 5000 (AOM 5000) service agreement, ensuring optimized performance and long-term reliability. Delivery of the turbines is scheduled for the first quarter of 2025, with commissioning expected to be completed in the third quarter of the same year.
