Vestas has announced a new order as part of its Q1 intake, securing a 62 MW contract from MIBRAG GmbH, a subsidiary of Energetický a průmyslový holding (EPH). The project, named Profen II, will be located in Saxony and Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. This marks Vestas’ second order in Germany this month, following the contract for the Bahren West II wind project in Brandenburg.
The Profen II wind farm will feature 10 V162-6.2 MW turbines, known for their high efficiency and performance. Vestas will provide long-term support through a 20-year AOM5000 Service Agreement, ensuring optimal operation and maintenance.
Turbine delivery is scheduled to begin in Q1 2026, with commissioning expected in Q1 2027. This project highlights Vestas’ commitment to advancing Germany’s renewable energy capacity and supporting the region’s transition to sustainable power.
