Sustainability Partners (SP), a Public Benefit Company focused on sustainable infrastructure, has been appointed to manage the day-to-day operations of Ecofin U.S. Renewables Infrastructure Trust PLC (RNEW), a London-listed investment firm with a portfolio of large-scale renewable energy assets.
As part of this new role, SP will oversee RNEW’s operational activities and the performance of its wind and solar energy assets. This includes managing operations and maintenance teams, coordinating with asset management providers, and ensuring the assets perform efficiently and reliably.
SP brings a strong background in infrastructure management and will focus on maximizing uptime and optimizing energy production across RNEW’s portfolio. All of the assets operate under fixed-price power purchase agreements with investment-grade utilities.
RNEW’s portfolio includes the Whirlwind Wind Farm in Texas, a 59.8 MW facility with 26 turbines, and the Beacon Portfolio in California, comprising two solar projects—Beacon II and Beacon V—with a combined capacity of 107.8 MWdc.
