ONGC has awarded a contract worth approximately ₹2,000 crore to IPO-bound Prozeal Green Energy Limited for the development of captive renewable energy capacity in India.
The company has received a Notification of Award (NOA) from Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) to establish 250 MW of Inter-State Transmission System (ISTS)-connected wind power projects across the country.
The project marks a significant expansion for Prozeal Green Energy into the utility-scale wind energy segment. The scope of work includes end-to-end project execution along with a 10-year comprehensive operations and maintenance (O&M) contract.
The contract is expected to strengthen Prozeal’s position in India’s renewable energy sector, reflecting growing industry confidence in the company’s engineering capabilities and execution track record.
With this development, ONGC continues to advance its captive renewable energy strategy as part of its broader decarbonisation initiatives.
