The Nordex Group has secured new orders from ENOVA and BMR energy solutions to supply and install 30 wind turbines with a combined capacity exceeding 197 MW across four onshore wind projects in Germany. The contracts, awarded at the end of June, cover projects in Lower Saxony, Schleswig-Holstein and North Rhine-Westphalia, and include Premium Service agreements for a period of 20 years.
The largest project will be developed in Boldecker Land, Lower Saxony, where ENOVA is undertaking a 68 MW repowering initiative. Nordex will supply ten N163/6.X wind turbines, with installation scheduled to begin in the fourth quarter of 2027 and commercial commissioning expected in early 2028.
In Schleswig-Holstein, Nordex will provide six N149/5.X turbines with a combined capacity of 34.2 MW for another ENOVA wind farm. Construction is expected to commence in early 2028, with the project slated to become operational by mid-2028.
The company will also deliver turbines for two wind projects in North Rhine-Westphalia—Nettetal and Breberen—which were originally developed by BMR energy solutions.
For the Nettetal project, which BMR has sold to ENOVA, Nordex will supply five N163/6.X turbines. Construction is planned to start in October 2027, while commissioning is targeted for early 2028.
Meanwhile, the Breberen project will be jointly implemented by ENOVA and BMR energy solutions as a repowering development. The project will replace existing wind turbines with nine N163/6.X turbines to enhance electricity generation capacity and optimise site utilisation. Installation is scheduled to begin in October 2027, with commissioning expected in the second quarter of 2028.
Karsten Brüggemann, Vice President Region Europe at the Nordex Group, said the company values its long-standing collaboration with BMR energy solutions and is pleased to expand its partnership with ENOVA through these new projects. He added that both companies’ continued confidence in Nordex’s turbine technology and long-term service capabilities reflects the strength of their business relationships.
Hendrik Böschen, Chief Operations Officer of ENOVA, stated that the projects represent another milestone in the company’s wind farm portfolio expansion. He noted that close collaboration with Nordex and BMR energy solutions enables the efficient execution of multiple large-scale projects simultaneously, reinforcing ENOVA’s operational capabilities and scalability in Germany’s wind energy market.
