Juniper Green Energy marks a significant milestone with the commissioning of its inaugural wind power project, contributing a robust 70 MW to Gujarat’s renewable energy capacity. Currently, 25.2 MW is operational, with a progressive rollout strategy that puts the project ahead of schedule by nearly 9 months.

Under a 25-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with GUVNL, the project will deliver power at a competitive tariff of ₹2.90, aligning perfectly with the region’s drive for cost-effective and environmentally sustainable energy solutions. Expected to generate approximately 230 MUs of electricity annually, this initiative plays a crucial role in Gujarat’s renewable energy efforts. It’s anticipated to reduce carbon emissions by 2,13,055 tonnes per year, while also supplying power to approximately 45,440 households.

On this occasion, Naresh Mansukhani, CEO of Juniper Green Energy, said, “The start of operations for our first wind power project and that too in record time is a tribute to our team’s exceptional work. It’s their perseverance and dedication to sustainability that have made this day possible. I am immensely proud of the strides we are making in renewable energy and look forward to continuing this path with the unwavering spirit and innovation that characterize our team.”
