Vestas is pleased to announce a significant order as part of its Q3 order intake, marking another milestone in its global renewable energy portfolio. In this project, Vestas will supply wind turbines to Altano Energy for the Dama de Baza wind farm, located in Spain.

The order comprises nine V163-4.5 MW turbines, totaling a capacity of 41 MW. This turbine variant, part of Vestas’ advanced technology offering, is designed to optimize energy production and efficiency. As part of the agreement, Vestas and Altano Energy have committed to a 15-year AOM 5000 service agreement, which ensures comprehensive operations and maintenance (O&M) support for the turbines, ensuring high reliability and performance over the long term.

The turbines are scheduled for delivery in Q3 2025, with commissioning expected to be completed in Q4 2025, contributing to Spain’s ongoing transition to cleaner energy sources and reduced carbon emissions.
