Vestas is pleased to announce a 50 MW order in South Korea, marking a significant achievement in its Q4 order intake. The project, whose customer and name are undisclosed, will feature eight V162-6.2 MW turbines from the advanced EnVentus platform, renowned for delivering exceptional performance and reliability.
As part of the agreement, Vestas will also provide a 20-year AOM 5000 service agreement, ensuring optimal turbine operation and long-term reliability. Delivery of the turbines is scheduled to commence in Q2 2025, with commissioning expected in the first half of 2026.
This project underscores Vestas’ commitment to advancing sustainable energy solutions and supporting South Korea’s transition to clean energy.
