Vestas is delighted to announce a new order from Alerion San Marco for the Valico Casone Cocca wind project in Italy. The 26 MW project will feature an advanced turbine mix, including three V150-6.0 MW turbines and two V117-4.2 MW turbines, showcasing Vestas’ versatile solutions tailored to site-specific conditions.
The agreement includes a 10-year Active Output Management 4000 (AOM 4000) service contract, ensuring optimal performance and reliability throughout the project’s lifecycle. Delivery of the turbines is scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2025, with commissioning planned for the first quarter of 2026.
This project reinforces Vestas’ commitment to advancing renewable energy across the EMEA region while supporting Italy’s energy transition goals.
