Wind energy solutions provider Suzlon Energy Limited announced on Tuesday that it has bagged a 250 MW wind power project order from Torrent Green Energy, pushing the total capacity built through their decade-long partnership beyond 1.3 GW.
Under the terms of the agreement, Suzlon will supply 76 units of its flagship S144 wind turbine generators, each rated at 3.3 MW capacity. In addition to equipment supply, Suzlon will handle grid integration and provide long-term operations and maintenance services.
The project will be located in Madhya Pradesh, a region the company highlighted as a key growth area for India’s renewable energy infrastructure.
