ACME Solar Commissions Third Phase of 8 MW at 100 MW Wind Power Project in Gujarat

ACME Solar Holdings Limited (ACME Solar), through its subsidiary ACME Eco Clean Energy Pvt Ltd, has commissioned an additional 8 MW capacity under its 100 MW wind power project located in Surendranagar, Gujarat. The latest commissioning follows the earlier phased commissioning of 44 MW, taking the project’s total operational capacity to 52 MW.

The commissioning was witnessed by officials from the Gujarat Energy Development Agency (GEDA) and Paschim Gujarat Vij Company Limited (PGVCL), and the milestone was formally recorded in the commissioning minutes of meeting (MoM). The final commissioning certificate is expected to be issued shortly.

The wind power project is being commissioned in phases and is part of ACME Solar’s broader renewable energy expansion strategy. With this development, ACME Solar’s total operational renewable energy capacity has increased to 2,942 MW.

The project has been financed by Power Finance Corporation (PFC) and executed through ACME Solar’s in-house EPC capabilities, with the deployment of SANY 4 MW wind turbine generators.

Power generated from the project will be supplied under a 25-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) signed between ACME Eco Clean Energy Pvt Ltd and Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (GUVNL), supporting Gujarat’s clean energy transition and long-term power supply commitments.
