Vestas has secured a 43 MW wind turbine order from Eurowind Energy A/S for the Ladenthin wind project in Germany, marking a new addition to the company’s third-quarter order intake.

Under the agreement, Vestas will supply and install six V162-7.2 MW wind turbines, delivering a total installed capacity of 43 MW. The contract also includes a Long-term Service Agreement to support the project’s operational performance over its lifecycle.

According to the company, delivery of the turbines is scheduled to begin in the third quarter of 2027, while commissioning is expected to commence in the fourth quarter of 2027.

The Ladenthin project further strengthens Vestas’ presence in the German onshore wind market and expands its collaboration with Eurowind Energy A/S in supporting the country’s renewable energy deployment.

Vestas announced the order as part of its Q3 order intake for the Northern and Central Europe region.
