The Nordex Group has received a 91 MW wind turbine order from TEUT Energieprojekte GmbH for a new wind farm in Brandenburg, Germany. The contract also includes a Premium Service agreement covering a period of 20 years.
The Schönermark-Passow wind farm will be developed near Schwedt/Oder in the Uckermark district of Brandenburg. The project will comprise 13 Nordex N163/6.X wind turbines. Each turbine will have a hub height of 164 metres. Construction activities, along with the delivery and installation of the turbines, are scheduled to begin in September 2027.
The first wind turbine is expected to be commissioned in January 2028. The project is being developed jointly with Salzburg AG, a utility based in the Austrian federal state of Salzburg.
TEUT Energieprojekte is a long-standing customer of the Nordex Group and has previously ordered several turbines for projects in Brandenburg. In 2025, the developer placed an order for 11 Nordex turbines with a combined capacity of 65.7 MW for the Mürow-Neukünkendorf and Willmersdorf-Tempelfelde wind farms. These projects are scheduled to enter operation in spring and summer 2027, respectively.
According to Jan Teut, Managing Director of TEUT Energieprojekte, the Schönermark-Passow project will be the company’s tenth project with Nordex. Across these projects, TEUT Energieprojekte has purchased 39 turbines with a combined installed capacity of 252 MW.
The latest order further expands the cooperation between the two companies and supports the development of additional wind power capacity in Brandenburg. Nordex said its N163/6.X technology, combined with the long-term service agreement, will support the project’s construction and operational requirements.
The order highlights continued investment in onshore wind energy in Germany, with new projects contributing to the expansion of renewable power generation capacity in the country.
