On 4 March 2020, the Potsdam-based NOTUS energy group and representatives of the Odessa regional administration signed a Memorandum of Understanding for the development of three wind farms.
NOTUS energy and regional officials have taken the next step towards the construction of the planned wind energy fields. “We are very pleased about the good cooperation with the representatives of the Odessa regional administration and the local communities,” says Hannes Otto, authorized signatory of NOTUS energy. Maksym Kutsyy has signed the agreement on behalf of the administration. Kutsyy is the governor in the region, appointed by President Volodymyr Selenskyj.
The joint declaration is intended to continue to ensure “trustful cooperation in partnership” in the development of “green energy” around Odessa. To this end, regular exchanges between the regional administration and NOTUS energy are planned during the coming project phases.
