ROBUR WIND and Gebr. Käufer GmbH have signed a cooperation agreement to work together in the areas of sales and service of Käufer rotor blades and tower access systems. The cooperation covers the region Latin America.

“ROBUR WIND’s many years of experience in blade repairs and the quality and innovative strength of Käufer’s rotor blade handling equipment will enable us to further develop the market in Latin America regarding the important topic of blade maintenance to increase turbine efficiency under the highest health and safety requirements. We are very pleased to have this exclusive cooperation for the fast-growing wind power in the region,” explains Kyriakos Kosmidis, CEO of the wind division within ROBUR. “Through our established locations in Uruguay, Mexico, Argentina, Brazil, Colombia and Chile, we are
able to offer competent local service and local sales of the access systems” adds Kyriakos Kosmidis.

The sale or rental of Käufer’s rotor blade and tower access systems in Latin America will now be handled exclusively by ROBUR WIND. Furthermore, ROBUR WIND is responsible for service in the sales territory and will provide appropriately trained and skilled personnel for this purpose. “Every technician who performs service on Käufer’s access systems has been trained beforehand at the manufacturer’s plant in Hückeswagen. This ensures the best service in this region,” says David Salas, Technical Development ROBUR WIND.
