Nordex Group received 229 turbines, with a total power output of 1,165MW in the quarter that ended Q1/2021 (1,247 MW). Q1/2021: 73%.

Nordex Group received orders originating from ten European countries. The European region was responsible for 89 percent overall order intake.

Finland, Germany, and Croatia were the largest European markets. Eleven percent of the Latin American region was represented.

The successful Delta4000 series turbines drove the order intake of over 90% for the quarter.

Jose Luis Blanco (CEO of Nordex Group), said that the N163/5.X was a key contributor to this development. It signals customer confidence that the turbine type is ideally suited to various global markets.

The Group has installed more than 39 GW of wind energy capacity in over 40 markets and in 2021 generated revenues of EUR 5.4 billion.

The joint manufacturing capacity includes factories in Germany, Spain, Brazil, the United States, India and Mexico. The product portfolio is focused on onshore turbines in the 4 to 6.X MW class, which are tailor-made for the market requirements of countries with limited space and regions with limited grid capacity.
