BluEarth Renewables US LLC is happy to announce that it acquired the Eads Wind and Solar Project in Kiowa and Cheyenne Counties from NorthRenew Energy LLC. The Project will be completed in several phases, totaling approximately 1GW of new solar and wind generation. This will provide significant economic benefits to the community and State of Colorado.

This transaction is the second between BluEarth, NorthRenew, a US-based renewable and sustainable project developer. BluEarth now has a development portfolio that includes over 1GW of utility-scale advanced development wind projects in Canada, the U.S. and more than 3GW of early-stage projects.

“We are excited to enter the Colorado market with this Project,” stated Grant Arnold, President & CEO of BluEarth. The NorthRenew team has a track record of success and has been an excellent partner. They have completed another transaction for us.

BluEarth believes that the Project will be an integral part of Colorado’s 2030 emission reduction strategy. It looks forward to supporting Colorado’s efforts in further decarbonizing its electricity grid.
