Nordex Group received a Serbian order for 105MW. This marks the company’s entry into the Serbian market. The Nordex Group will supply 22 N149/4.X turbines of the Delta4000 series to the “Krivaca” wind farm in spring 2023. A Premium Service contract covering the turbines is also included in the order. It covers a period of 25 years.
The Austrian wind farm developer Ivicom developed the “Krivaca” turbine farm. In the future, the MK Group in Serbia and the ALFI Green Energy Fund will operate the turbine farm.
Mihailo Jankovic is the CEO of MK Group. He said, “As an industry leader in green energy production in the Adriatic region, we are expanding in this area. We are currently developing wind power projects totaling 800 MW as well as solar power projects totaling 660 MW. This means that we will invest EUR 1 billion over the next five years, both in solo and joint ventures”.
Patxi Landa (CSO Nordex Group) said “We are happy to make this first step into Serbia’s very promising market with the Krivaca Project. We are motivated to begin our collaboration with the Serbian MK Group, and the Slovenian ALFI Green. We look forward to supporting their sustainable electricity production using our technology”.
It is located in the Golubac, Kucevo, and Veliko Gradiste areas of eastern Serbia, about 150 km east of Belgrade. It will be the first eastern Serbian wind farm.
The N149 turbines will be supplied by the Nordex Group in the 4.8MW operating mode. “Krivaca”, which will be commissioned at the end of 2023, will produce 310 GWh annually of clean electricity. This is approximately 1 percent of Serbia’s electricity consumption.
