The transaction to combine Mainstream Renewable Power (“Mainstream”) with Aker Offshore Wind has been completed to create a stronger renewable power company with a portfolio of 27 GW.

Aker Horizons, Mitsui & Co., Ltd., and Irish minority shareholders, entered into an agreement on 12 July 2022 with Aker Mainstream Renewables to integrate Aker Horizons’ subsidiary, Aker Offshore Wind, into the Mainstream group. The transaction is now complete. Parallel to the merger of the two companies, Mainstream’s minority shareholders took part in an additional issuance of shares. This raised approximately EUR 6,000,000 in new capital.

Aker Horizons now owns approximately 58.4 per cent of Mainstream, Mitsui & Co. Ltd. 24.9 per cent, and the remaining shares are held by Irish minority shareholders
