GUVNL Tenders for 300 MW Wind Projects under Phase IV

Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam (GUVNL) has issued request for selection (RfS) for purchase of power through competitive bidding process followed by reverse e-auction from 300 MW grid connected wind power projects (Phase IV) with greenshoe option of additional upto 300 MW.

Online bids must be submitted by November 30, 2022. The next day, bids will open.

GUVNL will enter into a power buy agreement (PPA), with successful bidders, for a period 25 years.

Part commissioning of the Project shall be accepted by GUVNL subject to the following conditions:-
The Minimum Capacity for acceptance of first part commissioning shall be 25 MW (Intra State Projects) / 50 MW (Inter State Projects) or 50% of contracted capacity, whichever is lower, without prejudice to the imposition of penalty, in terms of the PPA on the part which is not commissioned.

The Power Producer shall be permitted for full commissioning as well as part commissioning of the Project even prior to the SCOD, subject to the availability of transmission connectivity and long term access (LTA). In case of early part commissioning, the procurer may purchase the generation at the PPA tariff.

The acquisition of the land necessary for the project’s establishment will be the sole responsibility of the bidder.

The project should connect to either the central transmission utility substation or the state transmission utility. A dedicated transmission line will deliver energy to the Gujarat Energy Transmission Corporation’s perimeter.
